I am Janet Brookes - Clinical Director of Medi-Scan. I have been practicing in the field of Medical Ultrasound Imaging for over 25 years... in all the Leicester hospitals.
During this time, I have seen the tremendous development that has taken place, both in terms of the technical capability of the equipment and the training and ability of the Sonographers involved.
The Sonographer is one of the most highly skilled clinical practitioners to be found in a modern hospital and the use of ultrasound is now considered to be one of the most
important tools, for diagnosis and monitoring in virtually every area of healthcare.
